A Great Book Adaptation

A great book adaptation is Fantastic Mr. Fox. Wes Anderson directs it and the movie is based on a book by Roald Dahl. Fantastic Mr. Fox tells the story of Mr. Fox. Mr. Fox is a fox voiced by George Clooney and he is a former food stealer who decides to pull off one last, big job. Along with the scheme, he takes his plumber, his nephew, a badger real estate agent (Bill Murray), his fox son (Jason Schwartzman), his fox wife (Meryl Streep) and practically every other animal in the neighborhood. Now, usually book adaptations are rather weak. however, this is way better than the book. Wes Anderson makes the humor so much better by making it deadpan and so bizarre! Plus, Wes Anderson uses really cool stop-motion animation. I love this movie. In fact, it is one of my favourite movies.
